The 2019 Annual Joint IBD/BFBi Engineering Symposium organised by the Midlands Sections will be held at Derbyshire County Cricket Club on Thursday 7th February ’19. Four papers will be presented on the themes of ‘fluid flow and solid/liquid separation’. Briggs of Burton Plc, who are experts in this particular field, are hosting the event and will provide a cold buffet lunch.
There is ample parking in the grounds of the cricket club

15:30-16:30 Darcy’s Law and brewery filtration plant: Oliver Meckler, Pentair
16:30-17:30 Centrifuges in the brewery process: Peter Howard and Mark Breese, Alfa Laval
