Everards Brewery recently hosted the BFBi Management Committee meeting at their state-of-the-art facility, which opened in 2021 during the COVID-19 lockdown. As part of the event, Head Brewer Jon Elks led attendees on an insightful tour of the brewery.
During construction of the brewery, workers unearthed a significant historical artifact—an Iron Age wooden shield, now known as the Enderby Shield, currently housed in the British Museum.
The brewery features a 40hl brewhouse and an additional logistics facility offsite. It houses 12 FVs and four dedicated DPVs for cold storage. In 2024, Everards produced 25% of its beer in kegs, brewing an impressive 125 limited-edition beers.
Everards also operates a substantial pub estate (150).
The meeting and tour provided valuable industry insights, showcasing Everards’ brewing expertise, heritage, and continued commitment to excellence.
