Last night’s BFBI Eastern Section quiz (held on Tuesday 8th November) was another successful evening . We had 9 teams competing in the prestigious prize for the Beer Tankard and the losers taking the famous “wooden Spoon”. Teams were from companies Greene King, Omega Ingredients, Muntons Malt , Camgrain, Humber Doucy brewing and COFCO . 5 teams representing the Brewers and 4 teams representing the trade.
The Event was kindly sponsored by Boortmalt and hosted by Greene King , We are very thankful to Alan Pateman for stepping in as quiz master at short notice and to Susan Chisholme for organising the venue.
For the first time in quite a few years the Trade managed to win against the Brewers. We also managed to raise £328.58 for the Chairmans charity.
