Anton Paar recently launched Modulyzer Liqueurs, a new measuring system that analyses the alcohol and extract content of all types of liqueurs – no matter how creamy or cloudy the product.
The basic configuration of Modulyzer Liqueurs contains two instruments, a density meter, and a refractometer. This combination lets users monitor their liqueur production, derive correct blending ratios, detect the slightest product changes, and guarantee consistent quality. The system can be upgraded at any time with optional modules for turbidity and pH measurement and offers automation solutions for sample processing and identification. Thus, it can be adapted to any specific requirements of liqueur producers.
With a single sample, the system simultaneously determines all quality parameters in one measuring run, which keeps users’ processing time to a minimum. The system reduces the effort required for reference analysis (distillation) by more than 90 % and can provide alcohol results that are compliant with legal requirements.
