We are absolutely thrilled to share that this year’s Northern Lunch raised an incredible £1657 for charity – a record-breaking total! 🎉
After an inspiring keynote speech from Nicolas Hamilton, we were so motivated by his message that we asked him which charity he’d like us to support. We’re proud to announce that this year, we split the proceeds between two amazing causes: Scope and Air Ambulances UK.
💛 About Scope
Scope’s mission is to create an equal future for disabled people by transforming attitudes, tackling injustice, and inspiring action. They provide opportunities, information, and support to empower disabled individuals, helping them live full, independent lives. One in four people in the UK are disabled, and Scope is dedicated to ensuring equality for all.
We’re excited to donate £829 to support their vital work!
🚁 About Air Ambulances UK
Air Ambulances UK supports the lifesaving work of 21 air ambulance charities across the UK, with services for Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. These air ambulances are dispatched to over 126 lifesaving missions every day—45,000 missions a year—with each mission costing around £4,110. Nearly all of their funding comes from generous donations, and they can reach patients in urgent need in just 16 minutes.
The second half of the proceeds will go towards Air Ambulances UK to help continue their incredible work!
