The Society of Dairy Technology have announced that their AGM and Autumn Symposium will take place at Aberystwyth University (Gogerddan campus) on 13th November, preceded by a visit to Volac’s whey processing and biomass power station in Felinfach the previous day.
The Symposium has a ‘Optimising your Process’ theme with speakers from GEA, Realco, QCL, Holchem and Aberystwyth University covering topics such as assessment and cleaning of membranes, non-destructive quantitative analysis and rapid raw material identification, CIP optimisation and a lot more. The symposium will close with a tour of the Aberystwyth University site and a discussion on what is envisaged to be required by the industry going forward.
