Omega Ingredients are creators of specialist natural flavours and natural ingredients for the food and beverage industry for both the UK and the rest of the World. They recently announced they are now part of Robertet Group are making big steps in their growth strategy at their Head Quarters in Suffolk.
In March they received the keys for their 4th Pegasus(pictured) which will be their modern production facility. This new building is going to have a sustainability focus in line with their environmental policy, Ecomega.
Eric, Production Manager explains…. “Obtaining the Pegasus units was a strategic move in cementing the Omega growth plan within the World of Flavours. The excitement now starts with designing a cutting edge production facility to bolster the ever growing business demands. To add to this the focus the new design and build will have a strong ECO focus including rain water harvesting, solar Panels and making the most of natural lighting.
This larger factory will be doubling the size of their current production output of Natural Flavours and Ingredients for both in the UK and Worldwide.
The new proposed fit out for Omega’s 5th building Hydra 7 is also being finalised once leasing agreements are completed by the solicitors! Watch this space!
