Envireau Water is delighted to announce that it has been acquired by RSK, a leading integrated environmental, engineering and technical services business. In joining forces with RSK, Envireau Water will continue to operate, largely unchanged, now with the support of a much larger parent organisation. The leadership team, workforce, brand and culture will all remain intact as the business moves forwards in this new exciting chapter.
Established in 1989, RSK is a group of over 130 businesses aligned to deliver environmentally and socially sustainable solutions in a wide range of sectors. The group is headquartered in the United Kingdom and has an established presence in more than 40 countries around the world. Today, the group employs more than 8,000 specialists.
Envireau Water will strengthen RSK’s hydrogeology and hydrology capabilities, building on the services provided by sister companies, RSK Geosciences and Amphos 21 and complementing the water capabilities of other businesses in the group, such as ADAS, MWH Treatment, Salix, WRc and Binnies.
As part of RSK’s Geosciences and Engineering (G&E) division under the direction of Divisional Director George Tuckwell, Envireau Water will work closely with RSK’s businesses, looking for collaboration and cross-selling opportunities including new opportunities in the public sector, and will also benefit from the additional support to core central functions.
James Dodds, Chairperson of Envireau Water said: “I am thrilled that Envireau Water is joining the RSK family, a family that has the same vision and ethos as us.
“Being part of the group will provide us with support, backing and security as we continue to grow, develop and consolidate the Envireau Water brand, while we provide key water resources hydrogeology, regulatory interfacing and hydrological experience and expertise to other companies within the family.”
Dr Phil Ham, Envireau Water’s Managing Director added: “Envireau Water’s success is built on providing outstanding technical services and pushing boundaries to find solutions where others fail.
“Joining the RSK family provides us with a home to build on our success and flourish. We look forward to developing new relationships within the Group and the opportunities that will bring, both for us and our clients.”
And RSK’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer Alan Ryder said: “I am delighted Envireau Water is joining forces with RSK.
“The business is made up of exceptionally talented people who have developed a fantastic reputation among their client base and the wider industry. By bringing this expertise into RSK, we have not only strengthened the group’s hydrology offering we have also opened countless new opportunities for Envireau Water and several of the businesses within the group. I am confident that with our shared vision and principles we will achieve great things together.”
